My wife and I enjoy decent coffee, but realized that some of our coffee didn't have as much flavor as we thought it would.

For Christmas in 2005, our parents purchased us the Cuisinart Grind Central coffee grinder. This had to be one of the best gifts ever for the coffee lover. We now enjoy better tasting and fresher coffee due to the use of our grinder. We are now able to keep our coffee beans stored in the fridge or freezer to allow the flavor to last longer so we don't lose money on purchasing a lot of coffee at once.

The overall use of the grinder is easy. Assembly of the grinder from the box is nearly done for anyone starting out. Basically the grinder is fully assembled in the box and is separately sealed for protection.

The nice part is that the grinding cup and the top of the grinder are easy to remove to clean for the next use. The cup can be washed in the dishwasher which is nice for most persons who don't want to hand wash something for one use.

As for safety, many people will see that there is a moving blade inside that grinds the beans. However, since the top of the grinder is plastic and has the push-button on the top of it, it keeps from any accidents happening with contact of the blade.

We love having fresher and more flavorful coffee in the mornings. A great gift for the coffee lover!
