I do a lot of Internet shopping and my experience with Mercantila was the WORST experience I have ever had. This company is one of the reasons that people are wary of shopping on the Internet.
I placed my order and received confirmation that it was received and being processed.
Immediately my credit card was charged. Not when the order was shipped, but when the order was placed.
After 2 months without receiving my merchandise, I e-mailed customer service and never received a reply e-mail explaining what was going on.
After 3 months without receiving my merchandise, I called the company and was told that my order would be shipped on 6/20. When I was asked for expedited service, I was told that it was impossible and the fastest I could receive my order was on Thursday morning 6/22.
Then I receive notice that the product shipped on 6/21. Had the product been shipped on 6/20 when I was told that it was going to be shipped, my children would be swinging on that swing right now. But it wasnt shipped when I was told it would be shipped.
By the way, my notice about the shipping doesnt include any carrier information or even a tracking number!
This company has a customer service and response problem that is riddled with a lack of consumer support and honesty.
