Great review! I love dim sum and always, always, always eat way too much.
(yeah, girlboxer5's right - the paper is on the bottom of the buns to prevent stickage.)

Visions of pork buns danced in her head...
I think it's time to pay a quick visit to Chinatown at lunch today :-)
Quick note: I think the wax paper is at the bottom of the pork buns so they don't stick to the either bamboo or metal (what they usually use here) steamer.
Oh man, I can't wait 'til 11:30!!!

You're making me sooooooooooooo hungry!!!! Crabmeat Rangoon is my favorite Chinese dish, however. Great way to break it down!
