| ladyk's Full Review: Motorola PageWriter 2000X |
In traffic, late for a meeting? Send an email and let them know you're on your way! This is just one of the many ways you can use the Motorola PageWriter 2000X.
What I like:
-Easy to use. A QWERTY keyboard, larger keys (in comparison with the Motorola TalkAbout T900).
-Easy to see. The larger display and wonderful backlight make reading your messages a breeze! You can change increase font size to make it even easier to see messages.
-Lots of news, sports, market information, and trivia! You can receive a variety of news, sports, market info, and even trivia questions.
-Battery charger. Don't worry about buying batteries all the time. Just set it on the charger and let it go.
What I don't like:
-It's bulky! This pager is more than two times the size of a regular alpha-numeric pager.
-Doesn't work in some areas. If you plan on traveling with this pager, and plan on using it as your sole communications companion, don't. It doesn't work in all areas.
-Durability. It's not very durable with steady, repeated use.
Food for thought:
Why buy the Motorola PageWriter 2000X when you could purchase a newer cellular phone with the same capabilities?
The new Handspring Visor Handheld in conjunction with the Glenayre @ctivelink is a much more useful tool.
