6 months and still waiting!

I ordered some items from the Kidsline Zanzibar collection in January, and again in early February. Some of the items I ordered came promptly and in good condition. I had to wait a few months for some other items, which initially the website claims that it would be two weeks wait until delivery. However, I did get an email telling me that there was a problem with a new warehouse or something and it gave me the option of cancelling my order. One customer service rep "found" one of the items (a lamp) in the warehouse and shipped it to me. It came completely smashed to bits, so now I have to re-order the lamp, and I am likely now back to the bottom of the list and have to wait 4-6 weeks again.
Today is June 28, and I still do not have three of the items I ordered. The customer service rep that I happen to always get is very sympathetic and follows through by phoning me back, but an almost 6 month wait for it to even be shipped is pretty ridiculous. I am still not clear on whether this is Kidsline or Baby Universe to blame. I have asked for them to send the items by expedited mail, and if they do this then I may consider ordering in the future for certain items. In Canada, the items I wanted cost double the price of Baby Universe, the only reason I haven't cancelled my order. My baby is 2 and 1/2 months old now, and I was just starting to feel pregnant when I ordered this stuff!!!!
Bottom line - good selection but be careful with certain items that may not be in stock or are special order!
UPDATE AUG 1 2006 - Still don't have the hamper and wallhangings I ordered, apparently will be shipped mid-Aug. The rep (a different one) that I spoke with told me that there was a problem and they had to re-order the items. I would think that my order would get priority and they would bump another order for the same items at least to get my items sooner. I guess they figure that I am already annoyed so no point in annoying two people. Again, the rep has been very apologetic and seems to be trying to get my items, and they refunded $20 for the hassle (the items are worth about $50).
