I'm glad someone has finally joined me in the glories of being an SA, there are too few of us! As for the disclaimer thing, well I was thinking some people would think I was a complete nutcase if I didn't make some effort to show that I was only being 99% serious. Don't worry, thats my first disclaimer, it ain't a habit! I blame dantesguide! Thanks for the comment (and the trusting :)), and I hope you don't become an SAHM - that would be a waste!

You named about eight bands, and guess what? I aint heard of any of 'em! Guess thats what happens when you were born in the 80's in a staid family which doesn't listen to punk. Thats my excuse anyway, I reckon it stands to reason even if you don't! Bwahaha!

Man... (Reply to this comment)

This was one stroke of genius. You effectively described ME, buddy! I mean, I finally realized why I am the Wandering Nomad of Adolescence. I am a SA! (Halfway to being a SAHM?) I revel in the glory of finally having a place in the world!
Hilarious article. By the way, what is it with editorials and disclaimers these days? Did Epinions recently publish a thing saying that you had to put a disclaimer on each editorial, since by definition an editorial expresses subjective and potentially offensive material? Soon it'll be one of the required fields for ALL listings, regardless of topic: this is MY opinion, under the free speech clause, blah blah blah. ;-)

Parliament-Funkadelic?! What in the blue blazes is that! Oh well nothing wrong with being a non-OA...join me in the SA camp, its so much more, er fun! yes thats right. My fashion sense tends more towards the trakky daks than anything else, I can be stylish when I want to be, but that ain't often. Me too lazy. Thanks for the message kitten!

beautifully and I really enjoyed this editorial. It might be also to add a blurb suggesting that if their teens go beyond the teen syndrome delineated in your editorial that they certainly consider therapy for their child or family, or a group such as Because I Love You, Tough Love, or the like.
At any rate, I've been there so. . . I look forward to your future reviews, and am alerted to them.
