Pros: Keep me dry; so very comfortable; seamless.
Cons: The band doesn't wick away moisture; slight gapping around under arm.
The Bottom Line: This is a great wicking bra that is one of the most comfortable I've owned.

| jo.com's Full Review: Champion Double Dry Seamless Sports Bra |
Before our summer trip I wanted a lot of wicking clothing. That included bras. I was tired of being soaked while hiking. I bought two pair. The first I am reviewing I was a bit apprehensive about buying because I never thought of my Champion bras as wicking bras. I love my Champion Full Support Bra which I wear almost exclusively to the gym.
I decided to try the Double Dry Champion sports bra after reading the tags over and over again.
The claims:
The tag (and website- www.championusa.com) told me that the bra is ideal for intense activities such as running and aerobics.
I was told that the Double Dry fabric would wick moisture away from my skin. I would stay drier and I would cool down faster after my workout or in this case hike or bike ride.
I was told that the full inner bra gives support even during strenuous sports.
I was told that the knit-in panels stabilize the bust to help stop bouncing.
I was told that the seamless styling would provide me with softness and that the covered elastic binding around the neck and armholes would give me comfort and no chafing.
I was told that the built-in stretch would provide flexible fit.
I was told that the supportive T-back would keep the straps from slipping.
It is considered a classic compression bra. For men reading this compression means that there are no cups.
The bra is made in the USA.
I machine wash my bra in cold water and let it hang dry. I have never put my bras in the dryer though you can on a low setting.
What it looks like:
I bought a white bra. You can get it in black, coal heather(grey), harbor blue, Tibet coral, lilac, and red.
The sizes run like this: XS/S equals a 32 a, b; S/M (small/medium) equals a 32 a to c; M/L equals a 34 b, c
and 40 b; L/XL equals 38 b to 40 b.
The Double Dry Seamless is made of Nylon and Spandex.
The MCR (motion control rating) is medium to high.
The look, what I like and dont like and my experience:
Since this is less bra-like than many other styles it can be worn alone. For example I dont think you would get a second glance if you were bike riding in this bra especially in a color other than white.
The Double Dry has a wide band at the base of the bra. This is the only area of the bra that gets wet. It would be nice if I could say that it stays dry but that area doesnt. However the rest of the bra does its wicking work very well. My chest stays dry.
The bra is seamless and has no hooks or adjustments. On some bras this can be a problem if I need it tighter. In the case of my M/L Double Dry it fits me almost perfectly. I take a 34-36 C in the Champion Full Support bras.
I dont even know its on. The T back doesnt put pressure on my shoulders like other bras I have owned with the same kind of style. If you are on the small size of 34 you may have some gapping around the arm holes. This is the only area that I have found the bra to not fit perfectly. It doesn't bother me but I would suggest you go with the S/M since it seems to run on the big side.
Although it is a compression bra, because of the puckering in the front there is a semblance of a cup so the bra doesnt flatten me like a pancake as other compression bras have.
Lets look at the claims:
We are told that this bra is ideal for intense activities such as running and aerobics. I disagree. If you are wearing a size medium to large then I dont recommend this bra for aerobics. I would never wear it to an aerobic class. I would be bouncing around. So in spite of the full inner bra and the knit panels that give some support buy something else such as the Full Support Champion Bra.
I already mentioned that it does wick moisture away from me. I dont notice that I cool down faster although since Im not wet I suppose I do.
The claim of comfort is right on and is its flexibility. The t-back does keep the straps from slipping.
Jos Final Thoughts:
I am really glad I made this purchase. I love this bra and though I would not wear it to aerobics classes I would wear it for other activities other than hiking such as Yoga or spinning.
Other than the bottom band not providing any wicking I have no complaints about this bra. It has served me well and I have no doubt that like my Full Support bras by Champion this one will last for years.
This is style 2022 which will help you find it on the website! It may seem pricey but it is worth it. You may find it on sale once in awhile if you look around.
