After suffering through many gaming hours on an older computer with an 8mb video card, I decided to make a new computer with a killer graphics card. After reading reviews, this card sounded dazzling with its incredible frame-rates. Once I installed the card, only a week or so after it hit the market, the company website already had updated information and drivers available.
I was hesitant about the price of this card and not sure if the power of the Prophet II GTS 64 was exaggerated. So I decided to put this puppy to the test. I Installed Quake 3, a notoriously graphic-intensive game and began jacking up those settings. On 1200x1600 resolution with 32 bit and trilinear graphics set, I entered an online arena with high hopes... I was NOT let down. There was unbelievable fluidity, even in crowded rooms with 10+ people running and shooting. There was not one instance of hesitation. I do not regret my purchase of this card one bit!
FYI, the system it was running on:
AMD Athlon 850
128mb PC133 Ram
Prophet II GTS 64 MB graphics card
