Pros:Reasonably priced
Cons:Straps are constantly twisted, difficult to install
The Bottom Line: Unless you're on a very strict budget and just can't afford another seat, I'd recommend spending $20-$30 dollars more for a less irritating, more comfortable car seat.

Yes, I'll admit it. We bought this car seat because it was cheap: $32 with coupon including shipping during BabyGear.com's 'going out of business sale'. (What a horrid site, but that's another epinion!) For many of us, the total amount spent on baby equipment in that first year probably surpasses what we've contributed to our 401Ks! Bargains are tempting, but you get what you pay for. I wish we'd spent a bit more.

This seat really isn't bad overall for the price. I'd be more dissatisfied if I'd paid more for it. The seat cover could be nicer... just seems a bit cheap to me. It appears to be easily removable for cleaning, but if replacing it is anything like installing this car seat, (see below) it won't be an easy task. The padding on the cover is thin, and if your baby tends to fall asleep in the car frequently, you'll likely want to find something to comfort their wobbly, sleepy head. I can't imagine its comfortable to sleep in. The straps are constantly in a twisted mess, but mommies on Zoloft shouldn't have a problem with it.

Installation was, well... a challenge. I didn't personally take on that adventure, and was thankful I hadn't after my husband emerged sweaty and swearing from the back seat. Recommendation: Have a beer ready for whomever gets to wrestle this thing! (As long as you're not going to put baby in and drive, that is...)

As far as adjusting it goes, well... we're waiting as long as we can before moving those straps again, mainly because installation was such an arduous task. In fact, we may just keep the same car until our daughter outgrows this seat, for fear of having to move it!

The one positive side, is that this seat does provide a very secure fit. The 5-point harness is the way to go for safety. The seat does latch and unlatch very easily, and I've never been concerned for my daughter's safety in it, only her comfort.

Unless you're on a very strict budget and just can't afford another seat, I'd recommend spending $20-$30 dollars more for a less irritating, more comfortable car seat.
