I bought this fridge, to stop food thieves kept digging in my food, and spreading their colds and flus.

Major Disappointment. I loved the Quadras, but these 2 fridges are the last products I'll buy from Sharper Image because of unsafe design.

My fridge lies flat and holds more food. But it tends to overheat, because the legs are too short. It works well with 4-6" clearance (like on a wire rack) around the fan.

How the unit regulates temps? Donno. Clue: I had a 1# sack of cheese over the metal screws and the rest of the fridge seemed to warm up. Poor temperature regulation.

* Start with cold food and the food seems to stay cold. Don't toss a 200F pizza slice in there.
* Only fridge stuff that can't give food poisoning.
* Check food with a thermometer! Fridge sides feel cold but the thermometer doesn't lie.
* Quickly get what you need and close the door.
* Like a real fridge, the food seems to need air space but does better when it's about 3/4 full.
