Pros:Inexpensive amp, enough power for 2 subwoofer system, Easily modifiable case for active cooling.
Cons:Unstable at 2-ohm load, nowhere near advertised max watts, meant to be heard not seen.
The Bottom Line: If you are on a limited budget this amp will work, but there are better amps for the money out there, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE 2400 WATT TAG-LINE.

This amp is a DECENT amp for the price... new. However don't expect to get anywhere near the 2400 watts max they suggest, Realistically this amp makes about 160RMS x 2 at 4-ohm and close to 200RMS x2 at 2-ohm. That said if you can get this amp for about $100 new its a good deal, an alternative would be the Alpine MRP M350 or MRP M450. both of which are affordable and will deliver above the manufactures specified RMS at 12 volts.

This amp is good for smaller subwoofers, A cheap pairing could be 2x Volefenhag ZX47-12 which will put a 2-ohm load on the amp and will deliver satisfactory performance when paired with this amp. I've had this amp go into thermal protection with this set up and I'm telling you this is just about the MAXIMUM load this amp can handle. Any larger or more expensive speakers will be underpowered by this amp, unless you have a horn enclosure built for efficiency. (I've seen a single 18" Beyma hit 100 Db at 1 watt power, and over 140 at 22 watts in a properly built horn enclosure)

In any case you get what you pay for, you won't be disappointed with this amp unless you are expecting it to produce the full 2400 watts it advertises.
