Pros: Good selection of phones, month to month service plan available
Cons: HORRIBLE customer service, over priced
The Bottom Line: Don't do it unless you only want a month-to-month plan without a contract.

| erinjade's Full Review: Sprint Mobile Phone Service in Phoenix |
If you are looking for a plan that offers month-to-month (which is a rarity these days) and don't mind paying a bit more for it, then Sprint PCS is for you.
I am on the 500 minute on peak and 1000 minute off peak for $59.99/month. This plan is being offered to contract customers for twenty dollars less than this. Needless to say, this is frustrating. But it is only the beginning of the frustrations...
Reasons I loathe their customer service:
1)Their payment policies. I usually use their internet payment for check by web or credit card. When their site is down and they can retrieve my bill, it works. If not, you have to pay via phone. I paid a bill over the phone with an electronic check in june of 2000 and they made a typo in the check number. This was stated in the case notes but regardless, I cannot pay by electronic check until 2001 because they consider it a "bad check." To get this cleared, it takes two weeks.
2) When I tried paying over the phone with my debit card, which usually works, it was declined when there was adaquete funds available. In fact, I had attempted to pay this bill TWENTY ONE TIMES. Each time, the card was denied and bank one said there were adequete funds and stated they received no denials on my record. Short of handing them the check personally, there was not much I can do. I could go pay in person at a sprint pcs store or radioshack but then I would have to pay a surcharge. Considering they were less than accommodating, I was not about to go fifteen miles out of my way to pay my bill AND pay an extra fee to do so.
So, I warn you, do NOT go through sprint unless you feel you absolutely have to have a month-to-month contract.
