Phantom Radar & Laser Scrambler

Dec 24 '01

The Bottom Line If my experience is indicative of the PHANTOM'S abilities, it should save anyone else the cost of a ticket.

Over the years I have tried many Radar Detectors that either gave false alarms or alarmed when it was too late.
About a year ago I purchased a PHANTOM RADAR & LASER SCRAMBLER that does everything it is advertised to do.
Without getting too technical, it transmits a series of pulses at the same wavelength used by police laser guns (LIDAR)which are electronically timed at 100 feet apart.
The police laser pulses lose up to 50% of their power when passing through the windshield. Because the PHANTOM only allows the LIDAR to see up to 100 feet, the police are unable to calculate your speed.
I have experienced cars traveling behind me at my same rate of speed , pulled over and I was not stopped.
I have not experienced being pulled over since I have had this Radar Detector.
