Great Review! (Reply to this comment)

I'm looking for a new guitar and am pretty set on a PRS Santana SE. By the way, it's Hendrix, not Hendricks.

Edgeman,

The PRS Santana SE is a very nice choice, beautiful, great sounding guitar! You'll love it for years...I'm sure.

I must have been real tired when I wrote this review to misspell "Hendrix"? How horrible...

Thanks for the tip!

I've been looking for a new electric for a while now & i'm on a very strict budget (about $350) so it wont be anything amazing like a gibson les paul but it'll have to do...

I enjoyed reading your informative piece of writing... I'll make good use of your tips!!!

See ya l8er

Advice? (Reply to this comment)

I've been playing for about three years and am getting pretty descent. I am ready to treat myself to a nice guitar. My budget is pretty liberal, but I want to make sure I get something I'll love forever. I've been playing various guitars at the stores and haven't found just the right thing yet (although the les Paul studio was awsum).

My question is, why don't the strats sound like the strat players I listen to (Jimi, SRV etc?). I always plug em into a Fender, and I'm always dissappointed by the tone.
