The Bottom Line GO SEE STD OR THURSDAY IF YOU CAN BOTH ARE GREAT. AN AMAZING SHOW.

AMAZING. That is all could think after seeing saves the day aswell as Thursday and Hey Mercedes. This was a great show... It showed great deals of talent from each band. All around this was a really good show.

Venue: Krome, Sayerville, NJ. Krome has had many a good show. The bouncers there are nice people, they will give water and can be nice to talk to if you are bored. But DONT pl$$ them off or crowd surf too much. Krome serves food and water... for way more than theyre worth but that goes with out saying. Its a big place with a cool lounge and some couches and stuff. Big enough not to sellout too fast but small enough for a good show.

TIme: 700- 1100 or something
cost: about 20$ with ticket master surcharge

The first band to perform was Hey Mercedes. I came a little late so i missed a decent part of their set. From what i heard they were OK... not amazing.. but far from bad. They didnt do much for the crowd or for me but i could see how someone could like them.

Then Thursday hit the stage. A GREAT BAND. they have one of the best fanbases in the NJ scene or in any scene for that matter. They ROCKED. They just are sooo good. I am pretty biased when i comes to them because they are just a great band and i suggest that you check out Waiting on Eyeball Records and Full Collapse on Victory Records, both are exellent. Thursday's live show was amazing. they get the crowd into it fully. With pounding guitars and great lyrics there is no question why. They were nothing short of amazing.

Saves the Day then came on. This is one of the best bands ever to spring from jersey soil. Now with them hitting it big and their video for the song AT YOUR FUNERAL in rotation on MTV dont expect the old STD show. They are still great but i feel that Krome may have put a wee bit too many people in there. They came on strong belting out several songs from their new CD on Vagrant Records, Stay What You Are. Then they played some old stuff. AND THEN they even put in a swell acoustic set were people were at points singing louder than Chris. They closed with At your FUneral and that got everyone moving. They even came out with an encore version of Holly Hox Forget Me Nots... A very good song. They played a really great live show.

This was a really good show. It sold out very quicky so another day was added. I heard that show was great aswell. As i expected the show was amazing. I have no real complants. ***** stars! GO SEE STD OR THURSDAY IF YOU CAN BOTH ARE GREAT.
