I ordered an ER-15 custom earplug so they sent me an impression kit. In the instructions for the impression kit, it said to move the jaw around before the material dries so it will become comfortable. Wrong! I ended up making 5 different fits and considering that I live in the Philippines, I had to spend a lot on shipping. Looks like the correct way was to NOT move the jaw while making impressions.
I decided to let this little problem slip and I ordered a Westone UM1 with Etymotic triflanges. The Ety triflanges that are supposed to fit with other brands of IEMS have long stems but earplug superstore sent me ones with no stems.
They told me to send back the triflanges together with the ER-15 impressions that had to be remade. My audiologist ran out of impression material so I asked earplug superstore if I could send back the triflanges ahead of time and they replied that I could no longer send them back.
I am extremely angry with them bacause now I have triflanges that don't fit my Westone and a pair of custom earplugs that don't fit well.
I'm definately not ordering from them again!
