jeisaislove's Full Review: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time for Nintendo 6...
The hype of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was huge. Everyone had been waiting for nearly 5 years for another Zelda game... And Ocarina of Time delivered it the best way it could; Zelda style.
I bought this game this year from amazon.com. I'd been waiting a very, very long time to get it, and when I snatched it from my mail box, dashed to my N64, inserted the cartridge and turned the console on, I won't regret the sensation I felt.
Yes... the graphics are not flawless, but back in the old years of 1998, it was phenomenal. Thanks to my somewhat quaint, old-fashioned soul, Kokiri Forest made me feel like I was in the game... Like I was a true, living, breathing Kokiri with a fairy bobbing in my face! And the dungeons are pretty challenging... if you're a beginner, that is. Some dungeons/temples are quite easy... (Except for the Water Temple... my most hated dungeon.)
The sounds are realistic. Water running down a brook or river... Epona's hooves galloping sounds good. Swords clashing are perfect. And Link using his sword in combat seems like a real person swinging a blade.
The game is very, very good, but soon you can grow easily tired of it... I did, but I'm playing it again. There are many things to do in Hyrule other than getting the Spiritual Stones or awakening the Sages. There are bonus quests and speedruns, along with the funness (yes, I am aware of the fact that that is not a word,) of wearing those weird masks...
The major thing I did NOT like about the game was the ending. Bittersweet... yes, but not what I had expected. But still, the Zelda saga lives on, and I believe that Ocarina of Time is the best Zelda game to date.
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time transports you into the fantasy world of Hyrule with vibrant, real-time 3-D graphics. With full freedom of movemen...More at eBay
