Get over yourself Bank Of America!!

The Bottom Line Highway robbery, but what can you do?
So much to say about this topic, apparently, as so many have written before me... I say the banks need to get over themselves! Yes, we pay a little more for our convenience, but should we be robbed of $4 just for needing $20 extra before the week is through?
So maybe I didn't take enough money out of my check and I need to grab some food? I'm not close to my bank, and the only thing between me and Burger King is a 7-11 with a ATM. I am going to stop. I am going to ask my bank to spot me the extra few bucks. I am going to cringe when I see how much they want in return for my poor planning, and I will scoff when the next pop-up window tells me that the ATM's bank is charging me as well!!
ATM surcharges never used to be this bad, but one bank does it and the rest want to cash in so now everybody charges an arm and a leg for convenience. The supply demand issue always confused me. I thought when demand was high and resources were high, that prices go down because there is a lot of competition. (Please inject a hint of sarcasm - I don't need comments explaining supply and demand) I don't mind paying a little, but I do mind being robbed and that is how I feel about the whole surcharge thing.
Membership fees tend to go up every few years, too. What's up with that? As if they aren't getting enough of my money when I use the ATM... They have to charge me more to go into the bank as well!! My girlfriend has a credit union and that seems to be the way to go in regard to getting away from extra fees. She doesn't pay for anything extra (except ATM fees)
So I guess it is inevitable for us to have to pay for our conveniences...Next time I'll just take too much from my check and deposit what's left at the end of the week. At least they don't charge me for a deposit.
