Good deals but be careful what you buy

Overstock.com is really a hit or miss website to shop at. Most of the time overstock makes it sound like all of their items are actually overstock from other companies. However, Overstock actually sells brand new items that have just come out that can not possibly be overstock from other companies. The name overstock makes people think that the price should be a lot cheaper. You really have to watch though because Overstock.com will sell things to you that are basically list price.
Also, Overstock.com will tell you that you are saving 50% or more on certain items to get you to think that you really are getting them at a super deal. Well, half the stuff you can buy at Amazon.com for the same price so it really isn't that great of a deal.
NEVER buy jewelry from Overstock.com as it is all junk and will break or tarnish within months. The diamonds they sell are bad quality, cloudy, and have black dots in them. I purchased one a while back and had to send it back because it was such bad quality. Nevertheless, they do make it easy to send items back with their return policy.
I can't say everything is bad about Overstock.com as I have made some great purchases at good prices. Just be careful in what you buy as a lot of it is junk that they are trying to sell off because other companies couldn't.
