My Dad was born in a pub in England. (Reply to this comment)

My grandmother had a pub in the family for over 100 years. Just south east of London.
I was drinking beer about the same time as bottled milk :)
Enjoyed.

Fantastic Review (Reply to this comment)

Very thorough and an interesting read. One point about the Sam Adams Scotch Ale: it is no longer brewed. A real shame, that was a fantastic beer.

Stuffy Scottish (Reply to this comment)

On a recent cruise on the Cunard Caronia from Southampton to The Canarsy Islands, we were seated with a rather stuffy guy, and I ask him, jokingly, if it was true about what they say about what is under their kilts. I hit a nerve. He was offended....not the slightest sense of humor. Merriem

I visited (Reply to this comment)

Scotland this year and NO, nothing is worn in the kilt (well, on occasion they do wear shorts, not UNDERWEAR). I loved the SHANDY'S served in the pubs and at home. I also had the opportunity to visit the Orkney Islands, went to the Edinburgh Tattoo, up and down the coast of Scotland stopping at many places of interest, going to England, sight seeing there, and even went on a cruise to Norway. This was done in their summer months and being a southern lass from the south, I nearly froze me old bum off! Dusty

one learns a lot just reading one of your reviews. This one was great. You covered a lot of bases.
Cheers!

..... nothing is worn under the Kilt. It's all in good working order thank you very much for asking though.
