Forever 21 sells trendy apparel and accessories for young women and young men (via: twenty one mens’ (same URL with its own homepage). The fashions at forever21.com are targeted toward tweens, teens, college students and young adults. My oldest daughter (high school age) and my youngest daughter (entering middle school) appreciate the updated merchandise sold at Forever 21 storefronts. So, being the online appreciative shopper that I am, knowing my oldest daughters birthday was approaching, I happened upon forever21.com. This epinion will reflect my experience, shopping at the womans section of forever21.
Merchandise at Forever 21 is –in my point of view- reasonable. For example, casual shirts vary in price, generally from $7.80 upwards, with most selling for under $20. With two teen dressers in the home, I appreciate reasonable. The apparel sold at Forever 21 is intended for small to average sized shoppers. Casual shirt sizing varies: XS, S, M, and L. Denim pants range from 0 -11.
Whereas the storefronts are very crowded, limited selection is available, and lines are long… shopping at the web site is simplistic and convenient. The site offers excellent photo representation of merchandise, including zoom capabilities and front/back snapshots. I appreciate the ability to view the item of interest in every available color. Rather than offering merely a tiny square swatch, you click onto the desired color square, and then view the item in desired shade.
One point of frustration, for this shopper, is the lack of a “view all” option. While the top navigation bar offers categories such as: casual tops, dressy tops, basics, sweaters, outerwear, pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, denim, accessories, jewelry, intimates and sale. Upon arrival to preferred category, there are approximately twenty images of merchandise currently for sale. And then at the bottom of the page you can navigate to the other page listings (i.e.: casual tops fill 8 pages). I much prefer a “view all” option.
Overall the shopping experience is acceptable, as it is easy to place (or remove) items from the shopping bag. This merchant accepts: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Forever 21 Gift Card, or Forever 21 Store Credit Card. Charges to your account occur after your order is submitted. forever21.com offers standard shipping or express shipping.
MY ORDER
I am very impressed with the rapid “standard” delivery provided by forever 21. I placed the order on a Saturday and it arrived at my home on Wednesday! The order total was $39.40, then came tax (as there is a storefront in WA State) and shipping was $6.95.
It is worthwhile to mention that the packaging clearly indicated where the package was shipped from: it was sealed in bright yellow FOREVER 21 tape, the shipping box was imprinted with the company logo, and the shipping label listed the company name. No secret keeping via this box.
Speaking of the packaging, this merchant carefully wrapped the contents in tissue paper, sealed with a logo sticker. The charges to my card were accurate. I received confirmation emails. All things considered I am pleased with the shopping experience and most likely will shop at forever21.com again.
