Pros: Great idea.

Cons: Faulty product (twice) and bad customer service.

I was excited to have the opportunity to choose the music that I would wake up to. Unfortunately, I soon found that my cds weren't spinning freely, and were actually getting scratched by the device. I sent the unit back to Sharper Image for repair but the one they returned did exactly the same thing.

The worst part about it was they offered to pay for my shipping costs, but didn't in the end citing some lame technicality. I would recommend you stay clear of this company and it's products.
