Never Again Will I Buy One Of These

The Bottom Line Do ALOT of research before you spend the money or you could get burned like I did.
A couple of years ago my husband and I decided to purchase a new desktop computer. We looked everywhere. We didn't want to spend over $2000 and nothing over $1500 was even better. We opted too buy a Hewlett Packard with an Intel Celeron Processor from Wal-Mart.
After the first week, the Multi-Media Keyboard kept putting errors on our screen that just wouldn't go away no matter how many times you clicked "OK" or tried to "X" out.
After making call after call (long distance mind you), they sent us a new keyboard. That didn't fix it either. They decided that we had downloaded software that was "incompatible" with the MM KeyBoard.
We completely cleaned out the system and started again loosing everything that we had on our hard drive.
The problem we now face and have faced for the past 2 years is our resources. If you right click on My Computer and click properties, this shows you your system resources. If these resources get too low, your computer won't run and will lock up every few seconds. There is no way to keep our resources at a decent level. We are always having to go in and shut down programs that could be running in the background. We usually Recover the system about twice a year which involves saving all your hard drive info that you want to keep and then wiping out the hard drive and starting from the beginning.
It's really for the birds. I don't know if it's the Hewlett Packard or the Celeron Processor. Either way, I don't recommend buying either.
