Hi there! Not sure if you remember me from 3-4 years ago, but I looked you up and loved this review. I hope my little girl grows up to be like yours and loves books like this one. I'm secretly afraid she will be one of those "girly" girls who only wants to play with Barbies. :)

I just revisited this reveiw and am surprised I didnt comment before - I like how you used Monkey Girls opinion, as the way kids may see a movie differ a lot from what parents think at times.
I also think its sweet she wanted to wear the same shirts out - My daughter is 21/2 but I hope in 6 years she still wants to be seen out with me!

Loved the book as a kid, but doubt I'd want to go back to either of them now. Excellent forthright review, and you're probably right about PETA lol. Glad the kids liked it too as it really is meant for them. :) Oh and in the first paragraph under Plot, did you mean "in a world" rather than "in a word"? Just curious. Wishing you laughter and a worm-free diet

She's a great co-reviewer. Honestly, I knew it would be so different than the book I didn't want to see it. But she used "You could write an Epinion" as partial motivation.....

me wretching in my seat. I never read the book, but I don't have the desire to after what I saw.
I'm sure many will enjoy this movie, but I'll take a pass. I just don't know how to watch it.
