...photography but, as you say, they're expensive compared to an equivalent 35mm film camera.

I like the pro-type digital cameras, the ones that go for about $2,000 to $4,000 or so. That was the kind of camera used by the photog who got the picture of the marshals with guns coming in to snatch Elian Gonzales. That's how the picture got developed instantly. It wasn't really developed. It was digital.
