I think that Menominee might actually be in Wisconsin, up where Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Ontario kind of scrunch up together.

Not sure about the restaurant, because Menomonie isn't in MN...I think Michigan?

but yes, Cascade Lodge is still there and is a nice resort near Grand Marais...a little further north than the scope of my Two Harbors review or I would've included that too! Thanks for commenting!

Schloegel's Restaurant in Menominee? I ate there years ago, and really liked the food and location.

What about Cascade Lodge?

I haven't made it 'up North' all summer long. Now it's going to rain all Labor Day weekend :( Maybe next summer! -Dave

I have actually stayed overnight there somewhere between 8-10 nights, eaten at the restaurant probably a dozen times, and had my wedding reception there in 2004. So, when Superior Shores says that the only thing they overlook is Lake Superior, I can attest to that fact.

You are definitely an expert :). Excellent review, you certainly didn't leave anything out.
