This is more of a story than a review, but I do believe it has some merit... in short; I recommend this product!

As an asthma, seasonal and animal allergy sufferer, it's tough to find a product that actually helps control my summer (and winter) coughs, sneezes, itchy eyes and all the other great symptoms associated with Allergies. I've tried pretty much everything, from anti-histamines, herbal remedies and anti-allergen linen and bedding. Most work alright, but finding a solution without the possibility of a placebo effect is easier said than done

Now, upon moving into a new university apartment in the downtown Toronto core, I was plagued with more allergies than ever. Walking into the local Drug Store (To buy very expensive anti-histamines mind you), I stumbled upon "Febreeze Allergy Reducer." I picked up the 800ml bottle as it was on special, and brought it home. I proceeded to douse my entire apartment with it. I used almost the whole bottle (Hey, it was still pretty dirty in there...) Carpet, bedding, furniture everything, and went away for the weekend.

First of all, This product has a great smell. It's not "strong" or "Washing detergent-ish" like many of the other Febrezes. But if you don't like it, you're out of luck, it's your only scent option.

Upon my return the fresh scent was lingering in the air, and for once, I was able to sit down and watch a few hours of TV without starting to feel "stuffed up." I went to bed pleased.

The next morning was great, I woke up with no symptoms at all. For the first time in, well... Years I was breathing "free."

That was two months ago, and needless to say I've used this product since. It's helped immensely, and seriously cut down on my anti-histamine use (I only need them when I go out to classes, when I'm inside doing work I can skip the daily pill!)

So, for about 6 dollars I've received two months worth of relief (I use about a third of the 500ml bottle every two weeks in a 600sqft apartment, my initial usage was overkill). It really does help, and I hope to god this stays on the market. I can almost say... that this product has pretty much changed my (at least urban) lifestyle.
