Fun to see your list. I wonder if there's a beer web site somewhere that allows one to mail order all kinds of beer from around the world...! Now wouldn't that be cool!
Best,

Well Done! (Reply to this comment)

I thought about adding Anchor Steam ...first time I tried it was in '94 at the Carnelian Room Restaurant (Bank of America tower, San Francisco). With a great view of the city and the bay... this was the quintessential San Francisco experience for me.
Interesting choices, and some beers that I've never tried. The one thing about writing "Top-10" lists in beer is that these lists are -- shall we say -- very fluid and subject to change often.
I see the West Coast in well-represented in your list as well!

where's Bud Light? or Grain Belt? or... Hudepohl??!!
Looks like there are a couple of beers I need to add to my to-taste list. Thanks for the recommendations.

10 Favorite Beers (Reply to this comment)

You've inspired me now to write my own list. It will be difficult to narrow down to the 10 best, but I'm willing to give it a try. Maybe I should buy a six pack of each one first, just to make sure that my selections are worthy of the top 10?
You've given me an excuse to visit the beverage store again!

I'm not quite 21 yet, so alas, I cannot go out and try any of these that you suggested. But I'm trying to build up a list of those that I need to try when I'm of age, so your list is definitely very helpful. Thank you.

I'll have to assume all your choices are great... (Reply to this comment)

I've only had the pleasure of trying two of these you list. Both Anchor Steam and Third Coast are excellent. I'll have to keep my eye out for the others, thanks.
