I would recommend listening to "Car on a Hill". My personal Carly Simon favorite.

...is one of my favorite karaoke songs. In fact, after I broke up with my first girlfriend (who dumped me--a point guard on my high school's b-ball team--for the star power forward), I sang this song for my high school's karaoke show. Naturally, I dedicated this song to my ex. ;) And yeah, I think she was there... :D
Thanks for the tips on how to sing "I Will Survive". It's one of my favorite songs to lip sync to (and of course, sing as well).

You Gotta Be and Edge of Seventeen are my two faves from your list here. Both good songs to sing to while driving. Oh, if you get E!, True Hollywood Story is doing an hour on George Micheal.

Have you ever heard the cover of "I Will Survive", sung by the alternative group, "CAKE"? The lead singer of Cake cannot match the vocal range of Gloria Gaynor, but the song is catchy.

Awesome list!!! I remember when "You Gotta Be" first came out; they used to play it on VH-1 all the time. It helped me out a lot too, hearing this song and reminding myself that I just had to "be all I could be".
"You Get What You Give" is one of my favorite Karaoke songs.. as a matter of fact it actually got to a point where sometimes I would have people ASKING me to sing that song. Whether it was because they thought I was good or they just liked the song itself, the world may never know.
"I Want Your Sex" is pure magic. Part 2 on the Faith album is a nice follow up to pick up where the "C-c-c-c-c-c-come on!" leaves off. Don't ya think it's time ya had sex with me!! I love in the video where they're saying "Have sex with me" in somebody's ear; it's kinda hot but kinda funny too.
What was the other one... oh, "You're So Vain", another great pick!! Man, this song has got a great beat, and she sings the chorus four times! It's really a pet peeve of mine when they only do the chorus two times in a song and it's the best part of the song (e.g. "Amanda", "Walk On The Ocean" ('cept for the radio version), etc.)
