I think that this game is really the best launch game and game so far, as of 6.3.2001. This game kept me playing for hours!

Game play: You basically have 4 characters to choose from in the beginning, and 4 more can be unlocked. There are 8 courses that will unlock one by one as you beat the previous level. After playing the first course and getting some medals, you kinda get the hang of what your supposed to do, which doesn't take that long. Medals that you get after each course will give you points that you can add to your players attributes. Therefore, making your character faster, jump higher, etc... If you have played other snow boarding games, you can get through the first 7 levels in less than a week. I got through it in about 5 days. To unlock the last track, which is a free ride down a huge moutain (which is awsome!!!) , you need to get a insanly high score in course 7. I tried and tried, but I could'nt do it. So I used a code to unlock it. Overall, this World Circuit mode has lot's of replayability and is a very solid mode. There is also another 1 player mode where it's pretty much practice and for you to learn the course without other racers to compete with. There is a multi player mode for 2 people to race each other or compete with tricks. But World Circuit Mode is where it's at!

The courses are some of the coolest tracks I've ever seen! From a pinball machine like dome to a hawaii like course with beautiful scenery! If the game play won't amaze you, the graphics and detail will!

Graphics: These are the best graphics I've seen for PS2 so far and there is no slow down at all! Everything is bright and detailed down to the trail of snow that you leave behind!

Sound: The game comes with a intense soundtrack that keeps you going. They soundtrack isn't the best videogame music that I've heard and there's only about 8 different songs. I got bored of the sound after a while, but as you progress, you get more songs during your race!

If you don't feel like getting the game just yet, you can wait for the game to come out in a DVD version for PS2. This will contain some fixes to the original, maybe some more courses, and other cool things!
