The factory is situated in Dieren, a little town in the east of the Netherlands. It started production over 100 years ago, in 1892. Since then it grew from a two-man business to the biggest bike brand in Holland. With a total production of over 10 million units. And every 3 to 4 years a million bikes are added to the total. They are setting standards in safety, comfort, durability and design. Every frame and fork, steel or aluminium has a 10 year warranty. Their 7000-series aluminium is top of the line and tested better than some 6000-series of other brands. My own Gazelle for instance was one of the stiffest in a test of the biggest cycling magazine in Holland. And a lot of people ride bikes here in the Netherlands!
