The Bottom Line It gives you great quality for great prices. From the cheapest kids bike to the high end racing bikes of the "Gold Line".

Gazelle is a Dutch bicycle brand with a long tradition in handbuilt frames. The factory is situated in Dieren, a little town in the east of the Netherlands. It started production over 100 years ago, in 1892. Since then it grew from a two-man business to the biggest bike brand in Holland. With a total production of over 10 million units. And every 3 to 4 years a million bikes are added to the total. They are setting standards in safety, comfort, durability and design. Every frame and fork, steel or aluminium has a 10 year warranty. Their 7000-series aluminium is top of the line and tested better than some 6000-series of other brands. My own Gazelle for instance was one of the stiffest in a test of the biggest cycling magazine in Holland. And a lot of people ride bikes here in the Netherlands! One of the top 5 countries in the world in bicycles per person.
Their range of products includes city bikes (rugid, comfortable, trendy, sporty), hybrids (city and cross), mountain, racing and kids bikes. Every line has its own selection of frame sizes, colors and designs for both male and female.
The bikes are generally known for their low rolling resistance and longevity. A couple of years ago they added a "Gold Line" to their collection. This is a feature that enables the clients to customize their bikes with some personal features.
Especially the "Gold Line Racing" is full of possibilities. You can get a bike in every size imaginable. Every frame is handcrafted to the clients specifications. Size, color, decals... You can choose from 7 different frames (steel, aluminium, carbon and titanium) and 6 forks (steel, aluminium, carbon). You can have your name put on the top tube, 8 sizes stems in framecolor, 3 different sizes steers and a flat handle bar, 5 colors steertape, 4 colors Rigida DPX rims, 4 colors Vredestein Fortezza tires, 5 types of Selle Italia saddles and 2 types of clipless pedals.
I think I could go on for a while but I'll stop now. It's a great brand a shame it isn't sold all over the world. Great workmanship combined with reasonable prices, who isn't looking for that.
