The Dish Network will rip you off on your bill and not honor the perks that reeled you in to buying in. You will be very disappointed with Dish network. Stay away from them. The customer service is horrible. The equipment is the only thing that is good. You will pay more than contract.

Yep, I finally jsut switched. Get this one as well. I sent them a NEW box and not only was the one I received refurbished, it was a lower model. Obviously, the company needs to make magor changes.

I agree with you on the red-haired geek. I had DISH installed in March 2001; it worked beautifully for the first week. Then, we could get everything except our local channels (no NEWS!!), and a couple of the free movie channels. We called DISH, and then send 2 reps out within a week. One of the receivers on the DISH was not set up properly, it only took a bout 15 minutes to re-set it. No problems ever since!!
