When I eagerly opened the box of my T500, I was happily greeted with a nice looking computer, a mouse, keyboard and speaker system. It took about a half our to set up, and I was ready to view dvd movies, browse the web, or play games at a fast speed, but, there are systems out this year that outperform the T500 for cheaper than what I paid for mine. A 1000mhz computer will run around $1500 which is double the speed of the T500. Therefore, I think that the T500 will be suitable for people not too familiar with computers or children to use as a learning tool because of its reliability. Please note that if you use Dell's website to order, you can customize a dell system to suit your needs as an individual, down to the most detailed options. The specifications below were chosen by myself and not all T500's are alike.
