We have a long-distance relationship going on right now, and she has never had a very romantic Valentine's Day before. I wanted everything to be special. So I bought her a nice Bose wave radio system, and presented this CD to her for us to listen to later that evening: 1: Bon Jovi - Bed of Roses This song was appropriate, because as she knocked on the door to the bedroom following her invitation instructions, there I was waiting with candles lit and a bed covered with rose petals. 2: Luther Vandross - If This World Were Mine Luther is the master at setting the romantic mood. And any duet he does with a talented female singer is added bonus for a romantic evening. 3: Enya - Caribbean Blue Enya is one of my baby's favorites for romance, so I had to add a couple of her tunes for the mood. Great music for low lighting and cuddling. 4: Babyface - Soon As I Get Hone Babyface is one of my personal favorites. This song is a great song to show her how deep my love is, and how totally committed I am to her. 5: Keith Sweat - I'll Give All My Love To You Another great mood song. Keith is smooooooth.... 6: Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me This song picks up the tempo a little, and adds a little variety to the mix. That's important. 7: Luther Vandross - I Who Have Nothing Mmmmm mmmm mmmmm....another duet by Luther and a fine-singing woman. Doesn't get much better. 8: Enya - Watermark Another Enya track. Don't knock it until you've tried one of her CDs late at night in a romantic setting. But you've got to find the good ones. This is a good one. 9: Johnny Gil - My My My This is a great love song! It also helps that I've been saying 'My My My' to my baby from almost day one, so it had a comfortable feel to it as well. 10: Jonathan Pierce - I Turn To You Might know the more popular version from Christina Aguilera, but for the guys, this is who you need to sing to your lady. Great vocalist! 11: Babyface - Given A Chance Babyface again reassuring your woman that you will be the man for her always. 12: Luther Vandross - Love Won't Let Me Wait I don't know how you can listen to this song and not want to make love to your mate. Luther at his best! Enya - The Memory Of Trees Ending with Enya. Nice closer to the mix.
