Not a good experience

I did not have a good experience with The Brown Box (aka Mercantila). I just wish I would have read other people's comments about this company before placing an order. I placed in order on 09-05-2006 and I still can't tell you where my order is. I understand that standard shipping sometimes takes 2 weeks for them to process and send you the shipment, however their website says differently. It's only been two weeks since I placed the order however when I check my order status on their website it still shows that the payment is being processed. Well my credit card was charged when I placed the order. I can live with the fact that something might take two weeks to get back to me, that's not the frustrating part. The frustrating part is when I've put in an order inquiry online and do not receive a response. I've called the company and did not get a call back so I called a second time. I finally got a call back and the lady said that they needed to contact the distributor so they could update my order status. On the companies homepage it does say something to the effect that on most orders they will ship within a week of placing the order. This is a very long review and I'm sure you get the point. I do most of my shopping online and this has been very frustrating and I would not recommend them.
Oh, by the way, when I called and pushed the number to talk to someone about an order inquiry, it went to voice mail right away, both times.
****Update**** Today is now 09-27-2006 and the company still will not tell me where my order is and it's been 3 weeks since I placed the order, therefore I have filed a complaint with the BBB.
