This must be the worst infant car seat. I got this one from a friend after purchasing a nice GRACO snug ride, and using if for couple months. Then she gave me an extra infant carrier so i can use it in the second car, and this seat must be the worst one yet. I thought the Graco was pretty hard to handle, but after using the EVENFLO, I strongly recommend the GRACO.
Pros of EVENFLO:
1. Easy car seat belt only because it's a 3 point system versus 5point in teh GRACO.
2. I Admit Evenflo has better designs
3. Seems pretty plush, just like the Graco

CONS
1. So heavy, hard to handle with the Z handle
2. It never comes out of the base! It is soooo hard to release the seat from the base
3. unsafe, my child tips over a lot
4. the handle is hard to manuever back and forward. You have to push too many buttons as you simultaneously try to push it back or pull it forward. it's a nightmare
5. canopy is very flimsy, and now it's broken. I barely even used it. THe Graco on the other hand is nice and sturdy. The GRACo has gone through 2 kids now, just like the EVENFLO.

SO there it is: any evenflo carrier is hard to use, heavy, and not durable at all. In fact their safey records is alos pretty bad. Check out BABY BARGAINS, it's a book that rates only baby products. EVENFLO received a D. And I could see why.

For the money you spend on a EVENFLO, I strongly urge anyone out there to buy the GRACO snug ride. it's so sturdy, lighter, and easy to handle, not to mention the high safety marks.
