I've placed 6 or 7 orders from NewEgg and have been completely satisfied every time.
Their prices are great. I always make sure to do a lot of comparison shopping before placing an order, and I almost never find an item sold for less than at newegg.
If that weren't enough, they offer great inexpensive shipping. It is also common for them to offer free shipping specials. When you take this into consideration, the prices at newegg are especially difficult to beat.
Don't think that cheap or free shipping means having to wait forever for the item to arrive. On the contrary, they offer the fastest shipping of any online store I know. I always select their cheapest shipping method, and my orders never take more than 3 days to arrive, and often arrive the next day! In fact, regular delivery is usually faster or the same as next-day shipping from other stores-- there is no annoying delay waiting for the order to process before the next-day shipping comes into effect.
Newegg has one of the most incredible selections for computer gear on the internet. They have almost everything, down to the most obscure internal computer components. This is not just a store for the average consumer, newegg has a dedicated customer base of tech geeks who build their own computers from scratch.
They are very reliable. They have become the first place I go to for any computer and computer-related equipment. Every order I have placed has gone very smoothly. I have come to trust that they will handle my orders responsibly and efficiently.
If I have any complaint about newegg, it's that they don't currently have any technical staff to help answer questions about the use and installation of the products they sell. But almost no-one offers that these days. Especially not when they sell their products at such great prices. But it is pretty easy to get someone on the phone if you have a question about your order, and I have always found the newegg staff to be friendly and helpful.
Newegg doesn't have the name recognition of many of the other guys, but they can be trusted. I believe they are the best store of their kind. Have a look at all their feedback when you view an item on their website. It becomes immediately apparent that their customer base is not only very happy, but very knowledgeable.
Newegg.com is a refreshing alternative to all their untrustworthy competition.
