I included you mother in a write-off as a courtesy to keep in touch. she was very supportive of me and my writing and joined in one my other write-offs a year or so ago.

Bless you for making room for her in your home and for caring for her. My sister is suffering from emphysema and I worry a lot for her. Fortunately she is doing well right now.

I'm sure it was hard writing this...or at least I think I would have a hard time getting it all out. I'm sorry about your loss, losing a parent must be extremely hard. Bless fjbpab and her family. She touched a lot of people :)

Take care,

My Sincerest Condolences (Reply to this comment)

I lost my mother (80) in 1998 and are currently caring for my father (83). My mother died of complications related to diabetes. Your review brought tears to my eyes - tears of relief that both your parents and my mother are no longer suffering in their diseased riddled bodies.

Why not carry on your mother's and write in her honor?

What a beautiful tribute (Reply to this comment)

I have never bumped into your mom's work on site until now, but that is irrelevent. What your moving piece has done for me is to further cement my resolve to do the same for my mother should she ever need my help. I can't even imagine my mother not being with us in such a time of need. How very special you and your mother made her last few years on the ground together.

Peace be with you.

A beautiful and moving tribute you have done here. I have vague memories of seeing this handle on the site here and there. I am glad to know that your mother had a nice time and had the wisdom not to take it all so seriously.

Thank you for sharing this news with the community. Take care now!

I knew that the last time I spoke with Pricilla, she was failing. My heart aches as I read these words. I loved her and the person she was. She was a ray of sunlight when my days would seem bleak. I will miss her.

Thank you so much for saying her farewell for her. I know that she would love this. Bless her heart for being a wonderful person. Bless you for this. Bless the family in this time. She is listening to us and watching us now, I know it. She was a wonderful human being.

(love to you and your family, she will be greatly missed)

for sharing this information. Your mom was a wonderful person and will be missed by a lot of people, myself included. She always seemed so full of life, so spunky, and so helpful and kind, that it was hard to believe she was going through so much.

I am sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers.

of your mother's passing. I've thought of her (and you!) often and wondered how you both were doing. My father passed away last July (on my daughter's birthday) and I am still having a hard time dealing with it. Please remember that there are many members here who care, and if you need to "talk" my email addy's on my profile page.

Take care of yourself!!!

how your mom was doing. The last time I spoke with her she was not doing well and couldn't spend much time on the computer. I wish I had sent cards or cute jokes to let her know she was being thought of. She was in my mind and will always remain one of my fav writers. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a true lady and I respected her greatly. She will be mourned and remembered my many and will live on in our hearts. Blessings, Char

For sharing this beautiful tribute to your parents. It sounds like there was much love and caring there. I can empathize as I have lost both my parents, but aren't the memories a blessing?
Thanks for this wonderful post.

about your mom. She was, assuredly, a great writer and encouraging force for the Epinion's Community. I enjoyed many of her reviews and know that she will be missed here, although not nearly so much as I know that you will miss her yourself... :( Gina
