I bought this phone last year with one of those dumb contracts.
So i was at the Cellular One office where i live and they gave me a pretty good deal. First of all a $70 phone that cost me only $30 and they even told me "Yes, you can use it from your house to call anywhere in this area and even check your messages from anywhere!"
Ok so that was cool. Mind you i have had this phone for almost 1 year and not even ONCE could i use it in my town! NEVERMIND my house! I had to go to either Boston or someplace close to there to use my phone becuase there was no reception and i coldnt even check my messages. So actually about 4 months ago we went back to complain that the serivce stink and so does the phone..here is what they told me...
" There is nothing you can do now! We cant do anythign for you, you have to call and dispute. Oh well, uhh your phone does not work well because 1. its not a Nokia and 2. it was one of those piece of crap free phones we had to get rid of."

What?? We paid $30 for it and my brother DOES have a Nokia and no it does not work in this area you promised. Wow these people either cant keep their mileading info straight or something. So now they sell me a $20 antenna that you plug into the phone BUT can only use it on metal. "And it will work better in your house."

The antenna worked very poorly for about a month and then all of a sudden back to NO reception in my area...If i go to Boston, but im in NH. So now i have to pay roaming fees IN my area if i want to use the phone or just never use it and pay the monthly $24.95. The plan is very good but its not when you never are allowed to use it.

Their customer service...well..they need a class or some commmon sense. They dont know how to treat people, and also if you are sick of hearing this from customers....DONT PRODUCE POOR QUALITY.
