Vigilante 8 is a solid game. When I received the game as a birthday gift, I didn't think it would be very enjoyable because I don't like racing games. To my amazement, Vigilante 8 is not a racing game at all, it's a game in which you drive around a futuristic car armed with high tech weapons! It has a fun and challenging 1 player mode, which is fun to play multiple times. It also has a fun 2-player mode, so you can demolish your best friend! The most considerable weakness of the game is the short amount of time it took me to be the one player mode, although the 2 player mode neutralized it pretty well. Even though it has several weaknesses, it is easy to learn and play, and is well worth getting.
