Adoption is wonderful for most children and finding the bio family can be as well. But sometimes not.

Reunite on TV (Reply to this comment)

Hello. I came across your page while doing research for a new
television show in pre-production, Reunited. I'd like to say upfront that we are not affiliated with Maxwell Productions, or any television show currently on-air that depicts reunions in a negative light with lots of high-drama and shouting matches, if you know what I mean.

We seek to create joy-filled reunions that will hopefully educate the public and lift the negative stigma attached to adoption reunions. My job is to find interested show candidates and then to find the person they are looking for. This is what led me to your site.

I'm happy to say we are working with a strong search staff who have had many impressive finds. We've paired several sons and daughters with their birthmothers, and fathers with their sons. The barrier we're running into is finding fathers who are willing to set-up to the plate to meet their daughters. It's not that easy, especially since we want participants who are going into this reunion with a light-heart and will represent the birthfather in a positive way.

I am interested to know if you might want to offer registrants at your site the opportunity to tell their story on TV as well as free
professional search help. There is absolutely no cost or obligation to our participants. All expenses to Los Angeles will be paid by the network.

If you would like more information please do not hesitate to call, I would be happy to speak with you. I understand the sensitive nature of the adoption tri-ad search and the importance of screening newcomers.
I welcome your questions.

Sincerely,
Erica at Reunite Productions

Actually I had already written my review and had it saved to disk. I had forgotten to post it until I read yours, then of course I remembered. So for that I thank you.

I have always been a Christian ever since I was a little girl. I am glad that your life is better now.

Thanks for the comment.

Enjoyed your happy story. I had an easy time of it since the lawyer told my adopting parents the mother's name. I just had to ask them and they were eager to tell me. :-)

Thanks Tom for the comment. I am glad that you read the scripture I suggest. It is a good one that's for sure.

Writing this review was very easy for me to do. The truth sometimes is.

you write such heart-tugging reviews. I did, finally, read Phl 4:11 (that you reference in your short bio). An excellent verse.

This is beautiful and informative at the same time. How wonderful that you were brought into your family and His Family. Thank you for sharing such personal thoughts, I'm sure it will be of help both to adopted children and to parents considering the process of adoption.

God Bless you!
