That's right! For my hair I use Mane n'Tail Conditioner. Oh, I know it's for horses. But, I like it too. I used to ride the Rodeo Trail in my younger days as an avid Barrel Racer. My brother's were Bull Riders, Steer Wrestlers and Team Ropers. So, of course we traveled the Rodeo Circuit. Well, our horses had to be in top shape and of course, their Manes and Tails had to look great also. So, I always used Mane 'n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner. Well, myself and some of the other cowgirls decided to use it on our own hair one day, when we were in Pontiac, Michigan at the Silver Dome waiting for the Rodeo to start. I guess you could call that down time. Now, this was in the late 1980's. And, to this day I still use Mane n' Tail Conditioner.
Mane n' Tail is a Moisturizer, Texturizer and Lengthener. It is a thick cream of yellowish color. It nourishes and stimulates the hair to aid in hair growth. My hair seems to really grow well, since I started using it. It makes my hair very soft and silky. It repairs split ends and helps prevent breakage. I generally use it twice a week. After shampooing my hair, I put about 1/4 of a cups worth in my hand and apply it to my long hair. That may sound like a lot, but I have long hair. I do not rinse it out. I just towel dry my hair.
I can tell a difference in my scalp and my hair loves me for it. Yes, I said scalp. Mane n' Tail Conditioner stops flaking and scaling of dandruff. It also protects against damage from the sun and wind. It keeps my hair soft, tangle free and manageable. You really can see the difference after one application. Now, this may not be for everyone, but it is for me. I know some of the other cowgirls didn't like it on there hair. But, one thing is for sure we all agreed, when it came to our horses.

On the bottle it plainly says for animal use and human use. So, if your hair needs a little repair, you might try Mane n' Tail Conditioner. The prices vary, depending on where you purchase it. I have a 16 Oz. bottle that I paid $6.59 for at Walmart in the Pet Supply Area. I also have a 40 Oz. bottle, that I ordered from a Vet Supply Company and paid $10.00. So, it really just depends on where you purchase it.
Thank You!
