Don't be fooled by Proactive, if you have acne I suggest Acutane - It's the only thing that's ever worked for me

Acutane user too (Reply to this comment)

I was also on Acutane back in the mid 1990's when I was in High School, and it worked amazingly. I was a bit nervous at the time though, since there weren't many studies and no internet really to read up about it. My Wife's currently taking proactive, and it's working great for her. The other user was right though, Acutane is only for severe cases, as I remember I had to undergo many tests while I was on the medication.

Acutane is for severe acne only. Acutane should only be used as a last resort. I was on the medication for several years and it only helped my situation. I have never been able to totally get rid of my acne. I am considering trying Proactive and see what turns out of it. But acutane is not for just anyone. There are blood tests and eye checks up required because of the potential side effects.
