As The Beatles said, "relax, unwind and let your mind float downstream," while your body let's the music do the talking.

Excellent trip through romance via music. I was just very surprised you never discuss our varying moods, especially given your experience around mental health. We all change gears from time to time, and we need those songs too. But that just may be one of the other me's talking. Excellent writing and thanks for the suggestions.

Darling Casey!

Oy! Johnny Mathis singing whatever he chooses makes my top ten of sensual sounds any day! Then again, I am old, very, very old. Then again, you are older! (Nine days counts - honest!)

Loved the variety in this short list of yours - feeling all warm and fuzzy. Sending hugs... warm fuzzy hugs... sigh...

Love you,

Feat, Marvin and Otis.... (Reply to this comment)

...a combination that can't be beat. Willin' might be another good choice from Feat to slow things down. Dire Straits' Romeo and Juliet is another romantic gem, though on the bittersweet side. Nice work.

Can't argue with any of these, Casey.... (Reply to this comment)

...but personally, I would include James Taylor's "I Feel Fine" from his very first LP, and George Harrison's "You Are So Beautiful" which could apply to any number of intepretations including romantic ones.

I love these list postings.
