The main reason I gave this a helpful was the misleading information that the xbox includes a 10GB hard drive. Only a TINY amount of Xbox's included the 10GB hard drive when the system first came out, and was very quickly replaced with an 8GB hard drive, which is what all xbox's now come with, and have since a few weeks after release. Another thing, is that the DVD remote isn't $40, and I don't recall it ever being $40... (as far as I know it was always $30-35).

where have you been for the last two months xbox and ps2 are the same price $199.99 at any game store heck even at wal-mart!

I too think the GC should have been included. In fact, I think they have it right, give me a great system for a decent price, why include substandard dvd capabilities for an extra $100.
I own PS2 and am just about to buy the GC. If the xbox drops to $199 as rumored then I'll buy it too. I agree, Sony is the clear leader in games, but that lead will start to shrink. When the GC and xbox get titles out that fully utilize their power I think the PS2's hardware deficiencies will start to show. I'm curious as to how much more Sony can squeeze out of the PS2's hardware.

I left out the Gamecube because A. it isn't expecting a price drop and b. it's well out of competition because it's not aiming to be feature packed like the PS2 or XBOX. Gamecube is just kind of the top gun lurking in the shadows kind of thing. But thanks.

Even though leaving out my personal favorite...the GC did anger me a little...this is still a very nice review covering the xbox vs Ps2 situation. I hope to see more from you in the future...
