I have written quite a few reviews on Leslie Sansone's exercise videos and products. I like her. She isn't a fitness model type and isn't "hardcore" but she has a pleasant style and her workouts are easy to follow and fun.
I belong to the Leslie Sansone Walk Club and, as such, have shopped several times at the store that is part of the larger site.
I have had all positive experiences there and shipping has been super fast.
What the Online Store Sells
Leslie Sansone's Online Store is part of her whole site. The store part, which I am reviewing, sells many of Leslie's exercise and walk videos and DVDs, walk boosters like weighted fitness balls, books, audio, some walk wear, and membership into the Walk Club.
Navigation
The site is cheery and bright - similar to Leslie's personality. It is quite simple with categories of products across the top: New Releases, Walk Club, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Firming, Walk the Walk, Packages, Walk Boosters, Walk Wear, Book & Audio, and Clearance.
The homepage also has blocks of photos for each category that you can click on to browse the offerings. Each item has a good photo and description and most of the DVDs have clips you can play to sample them.
If you are planning to join the Walk Club, do that before buying anything because members get a discount on everything in the store.
The clearance section has some very good deals and no shipping charges so definitely check that out. Walk Club members do not get a discount in the clearance area but the prices are super low as it is.
Anyone can shop on the site. You don't need to be a member. It is open to all.
When you see something you want, click to put it on your cart.
When you are finished shopping, you will go to the checkout area.
There isn't a lot of info on this site as far a shipping chart. You find out your shipping charges after you add something to your cart and input your zip code. From there, it adjusts as you add other products to the cart.
When you are ready to pay, you will either log in if you are a Walk Club member (so you can get the discounted price which is clearly shown next to each item) or continue as a non-member.
You will supply your shipping, billing, and email addresses and input a major credit card. You can also pay by check by printing out the order form and sending it in. As well, you can order by phone with a credit card. That is all there is to it. You will get an immediate confirmation number and email.
Orders arrive incredibly fast. My last order - a clearance item with free shipping - was here two days after I ordered it.
My Experience
I have had many experiences on the site. I joined the Walk Club which I purchased through the store and was sent a free DVD and walk belt. I have ordered DVDs and packages from the site numerous times and have never had any sort of problem whatsoever.
The only gripe I have is that shipping is somewhat high for single DVDs. One DVD costs $6.65 to ship to me. That's just too much when I could get the same DVD elsewhere for about the same price with no shipping charges.
The shipping charge is only high with the first item. The handling must be bundled into the first thing you buy. If you add more items, shipping only goes up very slightly so it is to your advantage to stock up rather than buy one thing at a time.
There are a number of items in the store that you can't get elsewhere. The package deals - usually a DVD or two and some boosters like stretch bands, the walk belt, and/or weighted balls - are exclusive to the site. All of the walk boosters are exclusive and, of course, the Walk Club can only be purchased on the site (There is no shipping charge for the club).
I have ordered several items, sometimes alone, sometimes together, and always got the same treatment. Immediate emails, very fast shipping, and accurate orders.
Nothing has ever been damaged or misrepresented and I have never had to return anything for any reason.
However, if I wanted to buy a Leslie Sansone DVD alone, I would buy it where there was little or no shipping unless the cost was much higher on another site. I am not loyal to anyone when it comes to saving money!
Shipping and Returns
Shipping is dependant on where you live and you can choose from USPS or Ground UPS. They also ship to Canada but not worldwide.
There is no shipping chart on the site but, if you add an item then supply your zip code, you will see your shipping choices and costs. You can then shop more and the shipping will adjust as you add products.
Products can be returned in original packaging within 30 days after receiving the items. Opened CDs and DVDs can't be returned for obvious reasons. Shipping is nonrefundable.
If you don't like a part of a package, you can return just that part. That is unique and I like that policy.
Damaged or defective products will be replaced with the same product.

Conclusion
I like this store because everything is right there - The Walk Club, DVDs and videos, boosters, books and audio, and exclusive packages. The Leslie Sansone Walkblaster System is NOT sold at this online store. There is a separate website for that package.
For exclusive products and clearance items, this site is great. For items you can get elsewhere, the shipping may deter you and you may want to look elsewhere for the same workout DVD or video with free or lower shipping charges. There really is no reason to charge so much shipping for a DVD, even though they do send it out priority mail. But, if you add a few items, shipping doesn’t move up much at all. I suggest you shop on the site when you plan to stock up on a few things. That way the shipping will be much less per item.
I want to give this site 5 stars for having everything in stock, for having great customer service, and for shipping really quickly.
But I can't. The shipping charges make me scale back my rating to 4. Still, this is a good site to sample many of Leslie's products, see clips of the workouts, get great package deals and snap up some clearance deals, as well as to join the Walk Club if you need a little kick in the butt to keep moving. You can do full walk workouts from your computer standing by your desk. That is why I joined. I am so busy that, when I get a few minutes, I go to the Walk Club area, and walk with Leslie and her friends right by my computer.
The whole site is very friendly and informative and the store is just part of the entire experience. If you enjoy Leslie Sansone's style, this site has all sorts of ways to interact and talk to others who also enjoy her workouts. There are forums, columns, media articles, and more.
The store has a lot of variety and you can count on them to get your order to you fast.
If they lowered shipping just a bit for one item, this store would be the only one I clicked on when looking for Leslie Sansone workouts.
