When we originally booked the cruise I had some questions regarding airfare and deviation pricing to extend our stay in Houston, Texas. Our travel consultant was very professional and explained the deviation procedure and examples of what we might expect in additional pricing. He explained that there might be 2 different costs involved, one from NCL to change the packaged airfare and perhaps a second from the airlines themselves. He was very clear that once we chose to deviate, the first cost would not be refundable, but that if the airline fee was prohibitive, we could change our mind about the deviation. We were pleasantly surprised when the extra cost was lower, but his professional knowledge gave us accurate information so we could make an informed decision.
We received our documents electronically and there were some minor errors, due to NCL Latitudes miscommunication, which Vacations to Go handled quickly.
I appreciated how our agent helped answer all of my questions and advised me to write a letter to Latitudes Customer Service rather than telephone to get a better explanation.
As a seasoned cruiser, we understand there are many complexities in the travel business, so I truly appreciate excellent service when I receive it. We have cruised over 30 times and have used several different travel agents over the years. I can safely say that our Vacations To Go agent is one of the best we have dealt with and I assure you we will use him again, mainly because of his courtesy and expertise.
