I can't believe I forgot about Journey!!! Ugh!! By the way, great list. I recently posted one along these lines myself, then read yours. JOURNEY!! I can't believe I forgot Journey. Seriously though, very good list. Definitely a good first gear list. Thanks (by the way I can't actually kick my own head)

I will tell my step dad about this. Completely off the subject, how the heck do you do that clock on your profile page?

Most Excellent Choices Here!!! (Reply to this comment)

And so nice that I actually have heard 8 of these tracks. I liked the little snippets of lyrics here and there, plus the helpful tip on the note icon, I'm going to have to try that, Mr. Number One Rush Fan!
Thanks,
Casey

You are irrevocably, eclectically romantic, John. You have been sentenced to life in this personality and your lucky wife reaps the rewards. Bah humbug!!!!!

Hi Carletta,
I wouldn't be bitter at all. In fact I picked it up when I saw it being used on a few other reviews by several members.
The html coding for the music symbol is:
& # 9835 ;
(don't include any spaces).
Let me know if you have any trouble with this...

I have never heard that referred to as a love song before. Perhaps a "try to love yourself" song. I like your angle on it.
Great list,

Hole Hearted - great B-side to More than Words - no doubt about it.
Thanks for the comment - glad I had you going, if only for a moment :)
Have a good one,

I was gonna say! The first Rush song that came to my mind when I thought of a love song was Nobody's Hero, but then I guess that shows just how miniscule my collection still is!
I know every one of these songs except for the Chris DeBurgh, but I do understand totally. Kind of like me with Extreme, I'm more drawn in by their song Hole Hearted. Seems like a lot of the "one hit wonders" had great "second singles". Thompson Twins are widely known for "Hold Me Now" but I always liked "Doctor Doctor" too. Cliff Richard's "Devil Woman" can be requested on almost any radio station that does the "70's weekend" but almost none of them have "We Don't Talk Anymore". (Then again, that song was 1980, so...) Sophie B. Hawkins had "As I Lay Me Down", but then "Only Love" didn't get half the airplay and I love that song.
My romance mix (which is not even my favorite love songs, but the songs that reminded me of all my crushes throughout life) has been my second most popular opinion with the non-members, fast approaching 1000 total hits. I have no idea why. I hope you have similar luck!
See ya later,
FP
