i like your list (Reply to this comment)

indeed, 2001 was a good year for movies. i rented "waking life" but had to return it before i got the chance to watch it. :( there's now a category for top ten films of 2001 if you feel like moving your review over. i gave you a VH instead of an OT regardless. again, good job. i noticed recently that you've been checking out my reviews and i'd like to thank you. i'll be sure to get around to all of yours. in the meantime, my own list can be seen at http://www.epinions.com/content_2776014980

So you can't really expect Epinions to add that 2001 list yet. We're only eight months into 2002, so be patient LOL
This is actually a very good list. Surprised to see Vanilla Sky in there (because it's crap, in my opinion), more so Ghostworld (because it is such an excellently offbeat movie that was woefully mismarketed by the studio, so it's a shock anyone saw it), but very content with Amelie's inclusion.
Glad that the Off-Topic brigade haven't been too harsh on you. Lovely work.

I loved all your mentions. Even AI and Vanilla Sky (which I finally got around to seeing this past weekend). I enjoyed Vanilla Sky for it's strangeness and when in the end it was Sci Fi, I was the happiest girl imaginable.
And then there is Donnie Darko. I loved that movie and it took me quite a lot of thinking and a few viewings to really digest the film. I liked Ghost World, although I'd never put it on a top 10 anything. Moulin Rouge was pure fantastic fun. I loved the largeness of it and the bright colors and the music. Wow.
Mullholland Drive struck me strangely. I liked the film, and like all of Lynch's films it was bizarre. For me this is a good quality, for most it's probably off putting.
Great review. Note to self. See Amelie.
Shelly.

Great list, I agree with almost all of them. You, like me, must have had a hard time finding the right place for your list, because Epinions does not seem to be up to date. Excellent list though, and thanks for the recent addition of me to your WOT.

I agree with all except perhaps for Vanilla Sky - but I do think I need to see that one again. It was a late night and I was tired.
