So you wanna Half Stack or Full Stack?

Start with a half stack and add an additional cab later if necessary. Choose a guitar head based on the sounds and tone you prefer.

First off, great job with the article, but I have a question about the MESA F-100 head. How much does it cost?

So That's What a Stack Is! (Reply to this comment)

I found this review very clear and helpful. I mainly play small, battery operated portable amps. I do have one plug in combo amp (25w) that I use occasionally. I've wondered about the stacks I've seen in the stores and have been bewildered by the huge range in prices. This review really explained the differences between stacks and combo amps in a very easy to understand manner. Thank You.
